we said goodbye tonight. she leaves in the morning.
im feeling really melancholy now.
i felt really sad as soon as i got into my car to drive away. we acted like we were going to see each other tomorrow. as soon as i left, it hit me that we wouldn’t see each other for 3 months.
also…. my best friend is leaving for australia the same day i go back to school. he’ll be gone till january 15; i leave for south africa a week before then and will be gone till may. so, a week from now i will be saying goodbye to my best friend for eight months.
